Charles Dickens was a great writter but was he a great man?

more information.I believe Charles Dickens was a good man, although there are things about him that are questionable. He had a loving wife, however after a while he considered her an uncapable partner, and in 1958 they got sepperated. He had a large family, 10 kids, and single-handedly saved Christmas through his novel A Christmas Carol. His book also inspired many people to give more generously and learn to act humanly to all..well, humans!

I think Charles Dikens is awesome!! Wasn't he a beliver? He made it so that people celebrated Christmas agian!! That is a really good thing and so I think he is a good man!
I think he was a very great man and writer. He siglehandedly saved Christmas and wrote many novels that impacted the way people think on a huge scale!

He did many great things that impacted the world. I mean just imagine if he hadn't lived!No Christmas, no turkey, and even society was changed!And he was definitely a good writer, it would have been neat to know him. It was interesting hearing about how he was married and had a kind heart, koko!

Yes, Charles Dickens was a great man in many ways, but didn't Mrs. Konning say that he was very prejudice against certain people? Maybe it is just my imagination. But we all must remember that we all make mistakes and none of us are perfect.
